Why do some tile floors crack after a few years?
Tile cracks when subfloors flex or when tile is bonded directly to plywood without an uncoupling membrane. We install decoupling membranes to absorb normal foundation shifts.
Do I have to seal my grout every year?
Not with the advanced premixed urethane and epoxy grouts we use today. They have permanent stain resistance and never require resealing.
